Did You Know?
  • 1.1 billion people lack access to safe water
  • 88% of all diseases and deaths in the developing world are caused by a lack of clean water, sanitation and hygiene
  • In Southern Africa, only 59% of people have access to safe water.
  • On average, women and girls in developing countries walk nearly 4 miles a day for water, greatly reducing the time they have for other productive work or for girls to attend school
  • Nearly 2 million children under 5 die from diarrhea each year;
  • Access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene can reduce child mortality by as much as 65%
We Can Help!
Lent is a reflective season of sacrifice corresponding to Jesus’ 40 days in the wilderness where He endured many temptations he prepared himself for his ministry, the cross and the resurrection.

CCC is partnering with World Vision, a leader in Christian humanitarian aid to help those in need during this season.

Here is How!

We are asking you to give something up!

In addition to your regular church offering, you can take the money you normally use for beverages, entertainment and other luxuries and give the equivalent amount to our World Vision Well Project.
• For each $12,000 we raise during Lent (February 25th- Easter, April 12th) a deep water
well will be built in Zambia Africa
• Sanitation and maintainance education/ training the local people will also be provided
• Every $35 given to the well project will save one life
• If 350 people give up $5 worth of luxuries/ day for 40 days, we can save over 1800 lives

We will have 5 gallon water Jugs on Sunday mornings for your contributions
Thank you for your Partnership!
